24th June 2017, Saturday marked the 10th year Thaddeus left us and returned to the eternal kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
That day was also the feast day of John the Baptist, a contemporary of Christ who was known for evangelization and his baptizing of Jesus Christ.
The loss, the pain, the emptiness of not having Thad with us physically for the past 10 years was greatly felt by us but we take heart that he is now in a better place watching and guiding us all from above, having the faith that someday, we will reunite with him again.
Friends, relatives and loved ones attended the 5.30 pm Mass at St Francis Xavier Church, after which we all gathered in the Chapel to say the Rosary for Thad at his niche.
This was followed by dinner at Yummy Restaurant where Fr Gerard Weerakoon said grace before meal which included a beautiful remembrance of Thad
On FB, we received 50 likes for Thad’s inmemorium advertisement posted in the Straits Times.

3653 days and today is the 10 long years for our Thad boy who finished his distance. Courage and peace Angie, George and Thomas. I can’t help tearing thinking the painful path you have walked through and my family starting to walk too…how I wish it will be in a flash…pls guide us and may peace and happiness be with our boys Thad and Max.
